Evenings with the Cycle Radio Drama

Back when I hosted Evenings with the Cycle, I wrote and edited an occasional pseudo-radio drama about my co-host Angie Ni and myself as detectives getting in way over their heads, which we would play at the top of our show. Other Cycle News Hour reporters very graciously lent me their voices for each episode and I’m forever grateful to them for humoring my late night work-chat ideas.

Playing Guitar Here and There

While I was in Russia, I had the opportunity to play in a band for the Council on International Educational Exchange’s (CIEE) Fall 2018 Signature Project in a Petersburg nightclub. Did it make me consider dropping out of college to form an early 2000s emo-rock cover band? Perhaps, but that’s neither here nor there. Here are a couple of the songs we played:
